A Local Ecumenical Partnership
Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed
and both free and liturgical elements with Members leading intercessions. More than one Minister may often be involved in the main services with regular visiting preachers both ordained and lay.
To ensure continuity, sermon themes covering between 9 to 12 services are prepared with details of the whole series being given to those invited
to preach.
The regular Sunday Service pattern is as follows:
8:30 Communion Service
(1st & 3rd Sundays of the month)
10:00 All Age / Parade Service
(1st Sunday)
Holy Communion
(2nd and 4th Sundays)
Morning Worship
(3rd and 5th Sundays)
All the 10:00 am services include hymns as well as worship songs
Except on monthly Family Services, the children and young people leave for their own activities after the first fifteen minutes. We also provide a crèche for parents with very small children where the service is relayed.
We receive visiting preachers from all of the parent denominations.
Baptisms usually take place within the main worship service.
In addition to the regular services there are a number of special services each year, including an Easter prayer walk around Panshanger.
