Book of Remembrance
We have a Book of Remembrance in the chapel and this is permanently on display for people to view. Details of the date of death of loves ones are entered into the book and the page is turned each week so that we can remember those who died during that week in past years. We would be pleased to include the name(s) of your loved one(s).
In recent years, the Bereavement Care team at Panshanger Church has provided support for people from within the community who have lost loved ones. Our Bereavement Care visitors are trained to visit people in their homes to listen and to offer support through the distress of bereavement. The service is open to anyone in the community, of any religion or none.
Coffee Afternoons
We invite those who have been bereaved to come to Panshanger Church halls for tea or coffee and a chat. The coffee afternoons are held on the first Monday of each month between 2.00pm and 3.00pm.
Memorial Services
Each September, we hold a Memorial Service in order that people may come to remember and give thanks for the lives of the loved ones they have lost. Details of the date and time of the service are available from July each year.
